OverviewThe CADAR PCI LVDT Interface Card is a complete, 16 channel, LVDT and Half-Bridge probe interface, including all analog drive and signal conditioning circuitry, on a single PCI format interface card. Also included is a 16 bit digital I/O port - 16 bits in and 16 bits out - for control and monitoring applications. The card is fully "Plug n Play" compatible and packaged with a Windows 2000/XP device driver, sample software in Visual BASIC and Visual C++, and a COM/ActiveX module for use with many other software packages, including Microsoft Excel. Full technical documentation is included. Whether you are a programmer or just dabble in Excel you can be making measurements right out of the box. |

All that you need to connect most types of LVDT or Half Bridge probe to the card is a 16 way probe adapter. You can build this as part of your system (only cable and connectors are needed) or order ready made adaptors from CADAR for most of the common probe pin configurations.
