• LVDT and half bridge probes
• Sangamo digital probes
• Analog voltage (ideally -2.5 to +2.5Vdc)
• RS232/422/485 Serial
• Quadrature clocks (eg glass scales)
• Digimatic instruments
• USB
• Text file

Few measuring instruments fall outside these categories but some, particularly those with RS232 serial outputs, require a little more work since there is such a wide variety of data formats used with RS232.  Cadar's PortBuilder utility program, shipped with all versions of QS-Pro, can help you tailor an instrument port to suit almost any RS232 data format used in metrology.
