Q. The printed reports are fine but I'd really like to email them to colleagues and customers. How can I do that??
A. The simplest way is to print the report to a file instead of to the printer. You can then email the file as an attachment. Perhaps the best type of file to create is a Portable Document File (.pdf) - almost everyone has the Adobe Acrobat reader installed so your colleagues or customers should have no trouble viewing the report when they get it.
If you don't have a full copy of Adobe Acrobat you can download a free 'pdf printer driver' from www.pdf995.com. Once installed on your computer this will effectively add another printer, and printing your reports to this new printer will create a .pdf file instead of a piece of paper. In fact you can print from any Windows application, not just QS-Pro.
Note that when you reach the pdf995.com web site you should download and install both the Pdf995 printer driver and the 'Free Converter'. Both are required to produce PDF files from print-outs. Also note that, each time you print a PDF file, a pop-up advert for PDF995 will appear on your screen. This does NOT appear when you, or anyone else, views the .pdf file, only when you create it. You can stop the advert from appearing by paying PDF995 the sum $9.95 to licence your copy of the driver/converter.  See their web site for details.
