Q. How does QS-Pro decide which page (scene) in the batch view to show?

A. Each time you open a batch or enter data QS-Pro opens the top-most scene (right-most scene tab) that contains a control attached to a feature or instrument in the current measurement set.  You can look at any other scene by clicking it's scene tab or by pressing [Ctrl+Tab].

There are a number of ways you can use this to your advantage...

If you have, say, three features being measured independently with hand held instruments you can place cursors and charts for each feature in their own scene and QS-Pro will change scenes to show the one you are currently measuring.

If you place at least one control for every feature in the top-most scene then that is the only scene QS-Pro will show.  Charts or other items placed in scenes below (scene tabs to the left) will be visible only if you deliberately open them.  If you put the live cursor controls for all features in the top-most scene then this is what QS-Pro will show you when you open the batch and as you enter data.  You can look at the charts when you need them by clicking the appropriate scene tab.
