The world's major motor manufacturers set standards from time to time for quality control and the techniques required to achieve it.  Since it's first release QS-Pro has been a tool in the Quality Manager's armoury - for tracking quality trends, identifying problem processes or suppliers, and achieving continuing quality improvement - the last being the goal of 6 sigma campaigns everywhere.

Statistical process control identifies quality problems and helps you eliminate their causes one by one.  Eventually common cause problems, the 'noise' left over when all the known problems have been solved, become identifiable and can be eliminated in turn.  QS-Pro's real time control charts allow you to update control limits as special causes are eliminated and to make notes in the chart, 'logbook messages', about what's happening, as it happens.  The chart becomes an historical record of the process.
